Nation First Foundation (NFF) held a malaria outreach at Wumba Primary Health Care Centre, Abuja, on 27th June 2026, under its Project Combat Malaria (PCM) initiative.
The event brought free malaria testing, treatment, health consultations and community education to the Wumba community, at a time when malaria remains one of Nigeria's leading health challenges, especially in the rainy season.
In one day, the team saw 142 community members, ran 92 malaria tests, and provided medications and counselling alongside general health checks. The outreach drew support from the National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP), the Federal Ministry of Labour, the National Television Authority (NTA), healthcare workers and Wumba community leaders.
